Marko Dashev, Professional Photographer, born in Squirrel Hill, Pittsburgh, PA 1977. Raised in Toms River, N.J.
Marko studied classical art at University of the Arts in Philadelphia, Film at Emerson College in Boston, and Photography at School of Visual Arts in NYC.
Marko was trained by, and worked for many of the most famous photographers working today. Among them; Norman Jean Roy, Gregory Heisler, Matthew Rolston, Brigitte Lacombe, Diego Uchitel, and others.
Marko Dashev started his photography career shooting for fashion brands and magazines in the early 2000s. Marko's work first debuted in Surface Magazine's 2nd Avant Guardian contest winner issue in 1999. His clients include: Morgan and Morgan, J. Crew, Ann Taylor, Club Monaco, Ralph Lauren, Burberry, Bloomingdale’s, Hugo Boss, Alexander Wang, DKNY, and others.
In addition to commercial work, Marko's portrait photography includes “The Rabbi Project”: A series of portraits of leading Orthodox Rabbis and outstanding individuals in the Jewish world.
Marko Dashev is today’s most famous portrait photographer in the Jewish World. After his renowned portrait series, “The Rabbi Project” and his traveling photography exhibition,“Pnimi”, a new project is in the making!
